**THE CASKET LOTTERY
BIOGRAPHY | READ RECENT UPDATES
My memory hasn't been working right for a few years now, and Iím really starting to worry about it. When all my friends ask me if I "remember when"? I just turn my head and grin. Recalling the true history of this band, from my point of view, might be a bit of a task, but here we go.

The earliest zygote of THE CASKET LOTTERY was developed in July of 1997 while I was on tour with some friends of mine in a band called COALESCE. Stacy was the bass player in those days, and on that tour him and I discovered our musical interests matched up quite a bit. Back then I was playing guitar for these bands that never really got much further than my basement (and if I look back, I'm grateful for that!). But Stacy and I, then and there in a rental van in July of 1997, thanks to GIANTS CHAIR, BOYS LIFE, and SHUDDER TO THINK, decided we were going to be in a band.
